We’re looking for a highly organized, energetic individual with a reputation for providing high-quality service to clients to join our team. Reporting to the VP, Business and Strategy Development the Business Development Coordinator (BDC) will work closely with the Growth Team to support business development activities that drive business growth.
About the role
In your role, you will have the opportunity to take on a wide variety of tasks and develop your business development skillset by assisting in the development of BD collateral, set up/maintenance of digital infrastructure that supports BD activities and processes, updating and maintaining CRM and sales funnel, and market research and support.
Other duties include:
Support preparation for client visits and presentations.
Support Growth Team financial data management and reporting
Organize and facilitate internal BD-related meetings.
Work with BD team to capture and track key client-related information.
Support annual growth strategy development and progress tracking.
Support activities and materials for strategic conference and industry events
Prepare presentations, brochures and other collateral materials
Set up digital working areas for lead and opportunity documentation and collaboration.
Support Growth Team communications across the business.
About you
You are solutions-oriented and have the following skills and experience:
2-5 years of experience providing coordination support in a professional services environment
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), SharePoint online, Dynamics or other CRM, and graphics/visualization software.
Enthusiastic, proactive, open, service-minded, and spontaneous working attitude and communication style.
Solid verbal, written and visual communication skills in English
High tolerance working in a fast-paced dynamic environment handling multiple tasks with strict deadlines while maintaining focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Reliable, hands-on team player who also likes to have fun.
High diversity and inclusion intelligence, with strong cultural awareness
Comfortable working with minimal supervision, prioritizing own workload and proactively informing Growth Team of workload issues.
Ability to protect sensitive and proprietary information.Committed to quality and company values.
Bonus Points
Any of the following attributes may give you a competitive edge:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience in working in an environmental consulting, engineering or related business is preferred.
Experience collaborating with Indigenous peoples.
Spanish, French or Portuguese language skills
