POSITION SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity to work in-house and develop video content and a brand’s visual video identity. If you are a creative with vision and an interest in helping the community of international learners and future newcomers, then this role is for you!
On a daily basis, you will guide the video and digital media style of Paragon Testing Enterprises and its various products for distribution across different platforms along with supporting the integration of video and digital content into various channels. You will collaborate with multiple divisions and lead pre-production, shooting/recording, and post-production on a variety of multimedia products, including external-facing marketing and social media content, audio, and internal communications, from advertising to testimonials.
That includes, but is not limited, to: basic research, content creation and strategy, execution, monitoring, and reporting. We are looking for a team player who can juggle multiple tasks and work on independent projects while maintaining regularly scheduled responsibilities.
This position reports to the Manager, Marketing and Instructional Products and Programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities and opportunities with this position include, but are not limited, to:
Supporting of execution of overall global marketing strategy.
Bringing the Paragon product brands to life using the storytelling medium of video and audio – responsible for complete video concepting, shooting, editing.
Working as part of a team to create strong branding messaging that is reflected across various channels.
Developing engaging and professional video and audio content that reflects Paragon product brands as well as support test takers, score users, and stakeholders in their journeys.
Expanding the video content for Paragon audiences with a specific focus on short-form promotional and social content as well as longer-form and live-stream instructional video content.
Collaborating on the integration of video and audio content across various platforms (websites, social media, podcast, webinars, instructional products, blogs, corporate publications).
All technical elements of shooting/recording, lighting, and sound.
Editing final videos including creation and incorporation of graphic elements.
Maintaining an asset/project archive using an online Digital Asset Management software and understanding of clean, organized, and keyworded archives.
Evaluating the performance of digital content and adjusting campaigns and content accordingly, providing reporting on activities and new opportunities.
Performing other projects in marketing as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Academic
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a two-year diploma program in non-print media production, including digital video and multimedia production.
Experience and Abilities
This role is for you provided that you have:
Two years of experience in directing media productions.
Effective oral and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, customer service, and organizational skills.
A self-starter with an outgoing personality.
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite to create a strong, engaging social creative, notably Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects (equivalent experience in FinalCut Pro).
Animation experience, even just a little, but you’re interested in developing those skills.
Familiarity with social media and google analytics.
Ability to interpret video engagement and advertising data and translate into actionable items.
Experience with computer business applications required, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), email, and other database software.
Fluency in Portuguese or Mandarin is considered an asset.
Experience in international education, immigration fields, or language testing. Current knowledge of the market is an asset.

Salary: $52,000 – $58,000 per annum. Starting salary to commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience
