Do you have experience managing talent and vendor relationships across multiple markets? Robert Half is on the lookout for an experienced Events Manager to join our corporate client to guide them through a leave of absence. This is a 9-month temporary contract based in Downtown Vancouver. This Events Manager position will be responsible for up to 20 virtual events spanning North and Latin America, Europe and Australia.
What you’ll do:
Strategize and execute our clients marketing calendar of events, both internally and externally hosted
Design event value proposition, theme and agenda
Work with speakers to design and adapt the content to be industry specific
Be willing to lead events as an MC, or deliver necessary messaging as needed
Monitor event effectiveness through analytics and surveys
Work with additional internal resources to manage vendor and sponsor relationships
Requirements
3+ Years experience in an events coordinator/manager role producing high-profile events, ideally from a corporate setting
University Degree or similar credentials related to Communications, Marketing or Events
Posses super project management skills, certifications preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and comfortable working with C-Suite executives
Be willing to work outside of traditional working hours for overseas events
