Reporting to the Director of Sales of Latin America, the Technical Inside Sales Rep for the Latin America market will become an integral part of our sales team. You are a self-motivated, energetic and results driven professional. Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese will be an asset), you are comfortable communicating with global distributors, contractors and consultants in the mining, infrastructure, or related industries. You have proven sales experience, are proficient working with ERP Systems and maintaining ongoing rapport with existing and potential distributors/customers.
Support current distributors/customer accounts.
Communicate regularly with distributors/customers to provide technical support and product solutions.
Collaborate with team members to determine technical requirements and considerations.
Prepare quotes and sales orders and coordinate with the production and logistics departments to ensure customers have a positive and seamless sales experience.
Identify future sales opportunities.
Assess our distributor/clients needs, recommend, or assist in a selection of our products, and follow up on quotes.
Aid traveling sales representatives when out of the office.
Use of CRM for recording customer transactions, correspondence, and future opportunity pipelines.
Work within the framework of our Quality Management System ISO 9001.
Provide translation support for distributors/customer communication including technical inquiries and product literature when required.
Participate in weekly Sales team meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Business Administration, Sales, or equivalent education/experience.
3-5 years Inside Sales Experience or transferable work experience.
Clear and Concise Communication skills and fluency in Spanish and English is required (Portuguese will be an asset).
Geotechnical Instrumentation experience would be an asset.
Application Experience in Mining, Civil Engineering or Construction industries (preferred but not required).
Experience with Apollo ERP Systems or similar ERP Software.
Proven ability in maintaining positive customer relations, networking, and account strategy management.
Experience working independently, as well as in collaboration with team members.
Strong Organizational and Time-Management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and work autonomously.
Good judgment coupled with the ability to set clear expectations to distributors and customers and make sound decisions.
